This full-time role is fixed term, starting 28 January 2020 till end of school year December 2020.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with experience in supporting students with complex learning and behavioural needs for our Deaf provision at Kelston Primary School. This is a newly created position and would suit an experienced teacher to set up a class with a curriculum to meet unique student needs.
You will be working in a team that values collaboration between teaching staff and specialist services.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience as a special needs teacher, using a range of communication systems, and be able to adapt and modify the curriculum to meet diverse student needs. You will work alongside trained teachers of the Deaf and a knowledge of or willingness to learn NZSL is required.
